Gold deals on Moscow Exchange at 4.2 tns in March

MOSCOW, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- The physical volume of gold deals on the Moscow Exchange stood at 4.2 tonnes in March, the bourse said in a statement on Tuesday.

The volume of silver deals stood at 15.7 tonnes.

In monetary terms, the deals in gold and silver amounted to 21.2 billion rubles and to 1.2 billion rubles, respectively.

In January–March, the gold deals amount in real terms soared 90.4% on the year to 9.9 tonnes, the silver ones more than doubled to 30.4 tonnes. The gold and silver deals combined amounted to 46.2 billion rubles in the period after 26.6 billion rubles in January–March 2022.
